The Simple Things in Life

One of our biggest challenges is spending quality time with each of our children or even spending time with two at a time. So, last night after Lizzie went to bed and Millie was napping (AKA gearing up to stay awake during the night!) A took Elleigh and Sallie to get milkshakes and they came back and we sat on the front porch and drank them. It is amazing how much more attention you can give them when it is not all of them! Once we finished our shakes Ell decided to get a jump on one of her chores and water the flowers. Well you can only imagine what happened when the water hose came out. Soon enough we had the sprinkler out and Ell and Sallie were having a blast! Just water but SO much fun to them at the time and to us to enjoy watching them. After their splash, Elleigh even invited Sallie to sleep with her. They went to sleep at 2 am! Sallie and Elleigh getting along is definately a Kodak moment!!!
