WE LOVE YOU ELLEIGH!!!

Elleigh, we can't wait for you to be home! We need you to play with us and to help us get into stuff. Mama and Daddy have the door closed to your bedroom and won't let us in so please come home so we can get in your room. You know how much we love your room!!! These are some pictures of us in the playroom. Sorry for the mess! Mama promises to get it organized just the way you like it before you get home.

WE LOVE AND MISS YOU!

LIZZIE'S FAVORITE TIME OF DAY

These are a few pictures of Lizzie's favorite time every day-SNACK TIME! She is enjoying her cookies and milk! Sallie was still napping so Lizzie could eat in peace (without Sallie being her little mommy) and she was loving it!

I am really adjusting to staying at home. The first few days I was not so sure but it is great! I love sharing my days with the girls. Thanks SO much to those of you have been so sweet to offer encouragement and to check on me through this transition. One of the hardest aspects is having very little adult interaction so you checking on me means a lot. Please keep in touch!

MY NEW JOB

Well I am at the end of day 3 of my new job and the little darlings just laid down for bed. Whew! I am trying to get us in somewhat of a routine which has been a challenge with me adjusting to not being at work, us being on vacation for a while, the feelings I always have after being "home" for a while, etc. Elleigh is still in AL and I miss her like crazy! Not dealing with a pre-teen is nice but I want her back!!! Sallie is such a joy! I just can't say it enough. If we could all have the servant's heart that Sallie does. I am blessed to be Sallie's mother! Potty training has been such a big issue with her. We have no problems communicating with Sallie but trying to figure out potty training with her has been huge. So, she spent all day in panties (lots of them) and we are working on it. PLEASE pray for us to know the right things to do and for her to be able to relay that to us. Lizzie, our little princess, what can I say??? For months she has had separation anxiety big time. It has only gotten worse with us being out of routine. So, I have spent the past 3 days with her screaming every time I move. I know it will get better with time. It has to!!! Then when I do pick her up she gives me that precious "Dairy Queen" smile as Ell calls it. What a sweet addition to our family. I have to remind myself of that over and over as she pulls at my legs and screams ALL DAY! The days fly by. I have enjoyed cooking for us. No more excuses now! I have to do it! Really I do enjoy having the time to plan out meals and have time to cook them even if I do have more help than I could ever need from Sallie and Lizzie at my feet! I know that one day I will wish they were still here. I would like to tell you that the past few days have been great but I can't say that yet. I have enjoyed it but reality definately has set in and it is a different feeling when you know this is your job all day everyday. I would greatly appreciate your prayers. I know this is what God has called me to for now and I am very thankful to be home yet at the same time there are lots of mixed emotions and Satan is constantly attacking and filling my head with thoughts of you can't do this and you are no good at this, etc. So, pray really hard for me to seek God everyday in this new endeavor and for me to be constantly reminded that I can do this through HIM.

MILLIE UPDATE

Tuesday we had another ultrasound of Millie. What a cutie! Guess what-her hair is already looking long. Imagine our girls having hair! Anyway, she is measuring a week and a half to 2 weeks ahead of schedule. Once again, imagine our girls being big! Of course her head measured the biggest!!! Lucky me! She weighs around 4 lbs. Looks like right now with the blood pressure, gestational, and size she will be coming at around 38 weeks. I will keep you posted on the progress between now and then. Hard to believe that in about 6 weeks we will have another precious baby girl. GOOD NEWS-Millie has been breech up until this point but she has now turned!!! Praise God! Please pray for the rest of the pregnancy to go well and that we will have a healthy delivery. We finally got everything settled with the diabetes management team (insurance issues) so I will see them on Friday and Monday. In the meantime, I have been trying to manage as well as I know how. Wish I had a big piece of cheesecake and a real Mt. Dew! HA!

WELCOME TO OUR BLOG

I have made several attempts in the past at blogging. Well here I go again! I think this will be good therapy for me at the end of the day with no adult interaction. Oh and I can talk without anyone talking back! HA! I hope that this will keep you updated with the lives of the Hall's as well as allow me to do some journaling of sorts. At the end of each post there is a place for you to comment. Please feel free to do so!

Enjoy!
