On Saturday, I hosted a brunch for the ladies in my Supper Club. In November of 2006 we began a supper club. A couple of us knew each other but we did not all know each other and through a couple of the ladies talking about the idea a group of 6 of us were formed and we have gotten together for a meal once a month since then. We choose a theme each month and then each make a dish and get together at one of our homes and share our food and recipes. Most of all though we share our lives with each other. I am so grateful for these ladies! The 6 of us have 20 children ranging in age from 20 plus to 4 months so we have lots to share. 5 of those 20 were added this year! In August Millie was born, in October Jennifer adopted 3 children (and is a first time mom) and in November Angie adopted her 4th child (who is 3 days younger than Lizzie) so we have had lots going on! Our husbands are all at different points in their ministry which is such a blessing because we can all learn from each other. It is great to take a break from our every day routines once a month to get together and catch up with a group of wonderful Christian women and share our struggles and our victories!
