This is probably my absolute favorite worship song. God speaks to me in an incredible way every time I listen to it and sing it. We sang it this morning at church and every time we do you can just feel the Spirit moving in a mighty way. As I sang it this morning and wept and wept and wept I felt such a peace and yet so convicted all at the same time. There is so much peace in being a child of God yet we become so restless with our circumstances and we have so much hope in Christ. I am His and He will take care of everything in His timing. With me being sick and not knowing what is wrong with me and the stress that has been added to our family because of this, upcoming test for Sallie this week, a couple of my family members dealing with medical issues I have let myself get bummed and I needed this song so much today and God sent it just when I needed it. I hope that it touches you in a special way! I think each time I hear it I get something new from it. God speaks a different truth to me each time.

Thanks so much for sharing! I had never heard this song before. I love it! I am definitely going to get it for our church! It goes so well with the Bible study our evening ladies bible study group is studying - "Believing God" by Beth Moore! If you haven't done it before, you will love it! If you have, you know! It is so what I have needed for such a long time! I want you to know I am praying for you and the girls and I have some of our ladies praying as well! I know the frustration you're going through as this past year has been one I'd rather forget in terms of my body! I think I am finally where I need to be meds-wise (I take meds for hypothyroid, hormonal depression and the pill for lightening my menstrual flow) I have also had to monitor my blood pressure because it has been exceptionally high for me. I don't like medicine, but this has actually helped me radically, along with some great support from my family and some of the ladies at church! I still have a menstrual migraine for 2 days each month, but I manage it with pain meds and it is remarkably predictable! It has taken me almost a year to get this far and I just wanted you to know you are not alone! I know your pain (at least emotionally) and I am lifting you before the Great Physician and Wonderful Counselor! Let me hear from you and let me know if I can do ANYTHING for y'all!
Love ya,
Shannon
Hey Shannon,
It is so good to hear from you. I love anything by Beth Moore. She is so real and unlike some "Bible" studies she really does dig into the Word and take you back to it. Amy Thomas and some of the girls from SWBTS are doing her study on Daniel and Amy says it is wonderful! I am so glad to hear that you are feeling better. I hope you are getting back on track. What is happening to our bodies??? Man! It is no fun when you can't make your body do what you need it to-especially with kids that need our full attention 24/7. We will make it though! We serve a God who is able to do far more than we can do ourselves. I just have to constantly be reminded of that. Maybe you can feel my pain in this area as well but it is sad that it takes something like getting sick or some trial to examine our spiritual walk and come to the conclusion that it needs some major work. It is so easy to get caught up in the everyday and forget what is most important. I miss talking to you so much! Let me know if you are in FW anytime and we will get together. I want to come back to your neck of the woods as well! We hope everything is well with your family and can't wait to hear more about what God is doing in your church.
Love,
Cameron
