Awards and Thanksgiving

Last week Lizzie had her Kindergarten Thanksgiving Feast.  They made their costumes that they wore.  It was cute!

Our little Indian!IMG_8262IMG_8271Random, BUT this is what happens when I run into the gift shop/bakery and leave the girls (without Ell) in the car with a camera!IMG_8274Each Six Weeks our Elementary School has what they call Academic Pep Rally and they recognize achievement for that 6 weeks.  Here Lizzie is receiving the Panther Pride Award for her class which is an award given for hard work and effort. IMG_8285Here she is presented an award for Perfect AttendanceIMG_8287This was is a little dark but Sallie is receiving a Reading Award.  She has been reading some books using sign.  She is quite excited!IMG_8293Also, Elleigh was awarded student of the 6 weeks for the Freshman Class.  They do not have an Awards Ceremony but her pic along with a short article about her was in the paper!

We are so proud of our School Girls!

Grandy and Nanna came for Thanksgiving!  I really took only a few pics.  Here they are making “acorns”IMG_8300Yummy and cute acorns!IMG_8301Nanna also brought the stuff for a Thanksgiving Craft ProjectIMG_8302We had a WONDERFUL time while they were here!   We cooked and ate and ate and ate, we laughed (A LOT), we shopped, we visited Mrs. Millie (unfortunately I did not have my camera with me), we worshiped together, and just enjoyed being together! It is always sad for family time to come to an end but we are very thankful for the few days we had together!  IMG_8304
