FOOTBALL FEVER

This is a favorite time of year for us-football season! We love to watch football, particulary SEC teams, but since living in TX for a while we do now watch TX teams as well and watch more NFL, particulary the Cowboys. We have to try really hard these days to watch even parts of a game until the girls are in bed but we do manage to see some. Well now we start our football Saturdays a little earlier. Elleigh is playing flag football on Sat mornings. She loves it! No, we would never let her play tackle football. My first reaction when she asked to play was Elleigh that is for boys and they are not going to let you play. Turns out, they do let girls play. So we agreed to her playing. There are 3 girls on her team. Elleigh is so funny. She can be just as rough as the boys when it comes to playing sports but you can see our post from a while back where she is dressed as Sharpay from High School Musical and is being all girly! And you have all at least seen pictures of her room! Guess it is a good thing for her to be diverse. Elleigh does not enjoy watching football on TV but yesterday she got into it more. Aaron is still working with her on the plays. She came home yesterday a little frustrated because she was unsure of some of the plays. She kept saying explain a blitz to me! So last night after the little girls were in bed, A spent time with her watching football and going through all the plays. Who says we need a boy??? I must say though she had to have a pink water bottle and wants a lime green mouthpiece! GIRLS!
